In 1966, Arlin Parker started a line striping business with not much more than a Kelly Creswell Model-C line painting machine and a strong work ethic. For years, he applied that hard work to every project he took on, striping parking lots for local businesses and universities across upstate New York.

In 2014, Christian Parker created National Pavement as a division of Parker Line Striping to bring our paving and pavement marking expertise nationwide, serving many national retail chains and leading to expansion across the country. Over the past five decades, we’ve built our company as a self-performing paving company allowing us to partner with leading local paving teams whose values align with ours so we can provide the best paving services across the country.
From the moment Arlin Parker got his first job striping parking lots in 1966, he knew ensuring quality would be the only way he’d keep getting hired (after all, back then, word of mouth, reputation, and some advertising were the only ways to get your town familiar with your service!).
